Slightly revised:

more maps to come.

Julija the Butterfly Girl

From our Buffalo days...in front of the University Avenue house and our wildflower garden.  By far the most hardy garden ever - even under 3 feet of snow colorful little flower faces shown through!  You can see Colonel Coco, a sculpture Allie and I made out of chicken wire and an empty hot chocolate container and other stuff, in the background.  We made him to act as our scarecrow to keep the squirrels from eating the sunflower plants.  He worked pretty well, before he lived in the garden the squirrels would eat the sunflower seeds before they even sprouted!  Happy times in Buffalo.

Bowdoin College

I had a lovely day at Bowdoin College watching the Castleton and Lyndon teams compete in the NCAA XC Championship Race. Spent some time with Julija and then visited the Arctic Museum and the Bowdoin College Museum of Art.  The Arctic Museum had an exhibit of Inuit art; it was a fabulous show and they let me take some pictures!

November Dreams

within each moment
a stillness
a seam of emptiness
of not knowing
present
there
dreaming in
