Cranes on the side of the road

Mac at the Riverwalk in Naples waiting for lunch. A couple minutes later a huge tour boat backed into the dock knocking over a pier and smashing a big boat. I thought we were going to die! Turned out no one got hurt, but it was a bit exciting for a few minutes.

Julija Figures Out My Age

I often forget my age- it's true, I do. Julija tried to figure it out, she was 8 at the time. At first she did the calculation- "Mom, you're 3,964.....but I don't think thats right"
She finally did figure it out! The speech bubble on the top post it says "Hi Masa" (she calls me Masa).

Smoking Attitude

Yoshitomo Nara's "Too Young to Die" Ashtray from Cereal Art, Julija's elephant jewelry holder, Gail's Poppy and kids picture framed with antique Turkish crochet trim, and grandma's green and gold spattered candy dish. I love Yoshitomo's work, the attitude feels so familiar to me.
