There was a show at the Hood a few months back: Tradition Transformed Tibetan Artists Respond.
Here is a clip of the mandala the monks from the Namgyal Monastery and Institute of Buddhist Studies made for the show. It is lovely, but much smaller than the mandala I saw at the University of Buffalo a few years ago. Maybe that had something to do with the Dalai Lama coming to Buffalo for a week of Tibetan celebrations and events. Buffalo was enlighten in orange for his visit.
