"When I Am You" Art Opening

The show opened this evening at the Quimby Gallery at Lyndon State College.  It was a wonderful time- I feel so blessed to have such supportive and thoughtful family, friends, and colleagues.

The Frame Dames Turn 1!!!!!

Happy Successful Year One!  Ann and Sarah, co-owners of The Frame Dames, put on a bright and cupcake filled celebration for the shop's 1 year birthday party.  I was fortunate to spend some time there yesterday and share in the fun- and I met some of the other artists who have work on display in the shop.  It was truly a wonderful treat for me to chat with artists and friends of the shop-  I really love the space Ann and Sarah have created and enjoyed taking pictures of the art, displays, and folks who stopped by to celebrate.

The Frame Dames II

A couple weeks ago Christopher won a hand carved paddle in a raffle, well, he must be in a streak of luck because he won another raffle!  Our friends at The Frame Dames hosted a raffle for local artist Denelle Noyes- Denelle was raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project.  The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors through many programs designed to help veterans pursue life goals.  Christopher put my name in the raffle too- so he won a painted rock hamburger (garden burger) with fries and I won a set of wonderful cards.  Denelle's art is whimsical and we are delighted to have won these prizes!
